Private Sharing with URL Key

Private sharing with a URL key in PhotoBerry Studio provides a secure way to share galleries or sessions via a unique URL. This method doesn't require login credentials but ensures that only those with the exact URL can access the content.

How It Works

When Private Sharing with URL Key is enabled, a unique URL with a ?pbk= parameter is generated. This key automatically authenticates users when they access the gallery or session through the link.

Steps to Configure Private Sharing with URL Key

  1. Access Gallery or Session Settings

    • Navigate to the PhotoBerry Studio menu in your WordPress dashboard.
    • Select Galleries or Sessions, then choose the gallery or session you want to share.
  2. Enable URL Key Sharing

    • In the Sharing tab, go to the Access section.
    • Select Private with URL Key as the sharing option.
  3. Generate a URL

    • A unique URL will be generated automatically with a secure ?pbk= key.
    • Copy the URL and share it with your client(s).
  4. Save Changes

    • Click the Save button to apply the sharing settings.

What Users See

Users will access the gallery or session via the unique URL. No further authentication is required, as the URL key will automatically authenticate them.

Currently, in the free version of PhotoBerry Studio, URLs can be generated for either the assigned client or for "Guest", which allows for guest viewing (without proofing submissions).
