Private Sharing with Password Protection

Private sharing with password protection in PhotoBerry Studio allows you to protect your galleries or sessions by requiring users to enter a password to gain access.

How It Works

When Private Sharing with Password Protection is enabled, anyone attempting to view the gallery or session will be prompted to enter a password. This option is ideal for sharing galleries or sessions with multiple people who may not have individual accounts.

Steps to Configure Private Sharing with Password Protection

  1. Access Gallery or Session Settings

    • Navigate to the PhotoBerry Studio menu in your WordPress dashboard.
    • Select Galleries or Sessions, then choose the gallery or session you want to share.
  2. Enable Password Protection

    • In the Sharing tab, go to the Access section.
    • Select Private with Password as the sharing option.
  3. Set a Password

    • Enter a password that will be required to access the gallery or session.
    • Share this password with the intended viewers.
  4. Save Changes

    • Click the Save button to apply the sharing settings.

What Users See

When users access the gallery or session, they will be prompted to enter the password you’ve set. After entering the correct password, they will have access to the content.

Currently, in the free version of PhotoBerry Studio, passwords can be generated for either the assigned client or for "Guest", which allows for guest viewing (without proofing submissions).
