Managing Galleries

PhotoBerry Studio allows you to easily manage your galleries by organizing images, setting layouts, and customizing display options.

Steps to Manage Your Galleries

  1. Access the Gallery List

    • In your WordPress dashboard, navigate to the PhotoBerry Studio menu located in the sidebar.
    • Click on Galleries to view a list of all your galleries.
  2. Edit a Gallery

    • Hover over the gallery name you want to edit and click Edit.
    • Make changes, such as updating the title, description, layout, or availability.

  4. Set a Gallery Cover Image

    • By default, the first uploaded image is set as the gallery cover image. To change the cover image:
      • Go to the Photos tab in the gallery editor.
      • Hover over the image you want to set as the cover.
      • Click the gear icon (), and a sidebar will open.
      • In the sidebar, select Set as Cover Image.
  5. Sharing Tab Sharing Options

    • Control who can access the gallery using various sharing methods:
      • Public Sharing
      • Private with URL Key
      • Private with Password
      • Require Client Login

  6. Settings

    • Title: The name of the gallery, visible to clients.
    • Description: A short description of the gallery's content.
    • Status:
      • Draft
      • Published
      • Archived
      • Awaiting Approval
      • Approved
    • Customize Gallery View: Choose how images are displayed in the gallery. For more details, see the article Gallery Layouts.
    • Default Sort Order: Set the default sorting order for gallery images. For more details, see the article Sorting Images.
    • Watermarking Options: Configure watermark settings. For more details, see the article Watermarking Options.
    • Enable Commenting on Images: Allow clients to comment on individual images. For more details, see the article Commenting on Images.
    • Storage Options: Choose where the images uploaded to this gallery will be stored. This setting only affects future uploads. For more details, see the article Cloud Storage.
    • Photo URLs: Choose how image URLs are served. For more details, see the article Photo URLs.
  7. Save Your Changes

    • Once you have made the necessary changes, click Save to update the gallery.
