Comments
PhotoBerry Studio allows photographers and clients to leave comments on individual images in galleries or sessions. This feature is useful for collecting feedback or suggestions directly from clients.
To enable guest comments, ensure that the “Users must be registered and logged in to comment” option in the WordPress settings is unchecked.
How to Enable Comments
-
Access Gallery or Session Settings
- Navigate to the Settings tab in the gallery or session editor.
-
Enable Comments
- Toggle the setting to enable comments for the gallery or session.
Who Can Comment?
Viewers who have access to the gallery or session (via the frontend or the admin) can leave comments on images.
If the viewer is not logged in, a dialog will appear offering the option to log in or continue as a guest. If a user chooses to continue as a guest, they will be prompted to enter their name and email.
Managing Comments
- View and Manage Comments You can view comments directly in the gallery or session view or in the WordPress admin's Comments section, where the photographer has the ability to delete inappropriate or irrelevant comments.
By enabling and managing comments, photographers can streamline communication and feedback directly within PhotoBerry Studio.
